The Harvard Milk Days Antique Tractor/Equipment Committee would like to invite all antique tractor and equipment enthusiasts to participate in this year’s Harvard Milk Days events. Last year we had 50 units on display (tractors, farm equipment & tools, and antique trucks & cars. Our goal is to have a large display of past farming and farm-related items. This is not only for tractors; we would like to see other items such as mowers, balers, old combines, hit-in-miss engines, and the like. We know that many of you have these treasures stored away in your sheds. Restored or not, all are welcome.

We are asking all entrants to bring their tractors or other items to the Harvard Milky Way Park grounds on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. or on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Release time will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Milky Way Park is located at 300 Lawrence Rd. in Harvard, IL. We ask that you please bring your entries to the park by way of the entrance off of Ratzlaff Street.

Everyone is encouraged to participate in the Milk Days Parade on Saturday at noon. We will coordinate with the parade officials, so all entries are in the parade together. The plan is to take the back streets to the parade route and enter the parade without the need to sit and wait while the tractors are running. Parade tractors will not be allowed to have additional riders, and drivers must be at least 16 years of age with a valid license. The parade attracts about 100,000 people, so anyone that has never driven through a parade route this size will be in for a big treat.

After going through the parade, everyone will end up back at Milky Way Park where the tractors and equipment will be on display. The Milk Days grounds have plenty of food and drinks, along with a carnival and entertainment; and of course, the Antique Tractor/Equipment Display. There is a $5.00 entry fee for each participant to help cover the cost of lighting and security. The $5.00 is for each participant, not for each item you are bringing.

1. Oldest Running Tractor (if same year, serial number will be used)
2. Best of Show & 2nd Place
3. Best Restoration (bring your Before photos)
4. Best survivor (original condition – not restored)
5. Most unique equipment (antique plows, hay loaders, etc.)

All participants will receive a Milk Days memento
